I have a 2012 390DA and the motor compartment lift actuators are failing. I am not using the boat to avoid raising and lowering the hatch right now concerned one will fail and be stuck in an up or down position. I have contacted Acculift numerous times in every method known to man with the exception of smoke signals and mores code with no answer/no response. I have an order in with Marinemax now but they cannot get any info from Acculift either. fyi the actuators are cheaper thru marinemax than direct with Acculift based on the website pricing.

Anyway..... i am now planning to change to a different manufacturer for replacement actuators. Probably Eddie Marine. The actuator on the boat now is the Acculift 0002 model (SR C 18 24 50). The motor on this part is perpendicular to the drive cylinder. The replacement i am considering, the motor is parallel to the drive cylinder. i dont really see any physical reason this form factor will be a problem. Wondered if anyone might have any input or experience with this situation. Thanks in advance

Did you have any success in getting new actuators? What did you install?

No. Actuators worked but brackets works have to be modified as the tip measured different. I would have pulled them and had the machine shop modify them but the acculift actuators became available so I bought them.

Happy to sell the Eddie Marine actuators with probably 20 cycles on them for a great price.

The vendor confirmed that the Eddie Marine actuators are not ignition protected. So not a good replacement for my boat that has gasoline engines.
