Moved 340 to Orange Beach, Alabama

Dammit! I was down yesterday doing some boat maintenance and didn't get on this site all day. I wish I had checked and maybe could have met some of you for lunch

We tooled around a little bit went exploring at the Wharf. Looked at some of the boats there. Ended up at Pirates Cove for their cheeseburgers. Great day and there was several boats out.

Jim,

I may be at Barber Sunday AM to clean the winter dust from my boat. Two friends, Rod and Panama, left Shreveport Red River Marina Monday on Rod's 45' Bayliner for a 600 mile trip to Barber Marina via New Orleans. They should arrive Saturday PM or Sunday AM. Panama will ride back to Shreveport with me Monday.

I tell you all of this so if you get a chance you may show up at Barber Sunday. I hope to meet you all if you can be there.

Vince,
Sorry! Just checking the site and saw your message. We have been moving our company to a new location plus had our first foal on the farm yesterday, so we never got the boat this weekend. When will you be back?

Jim,

The weather was perfect this weekend. I cleaned most of the winter dust fromthe boat. We are sorry we missed ya'll. Congratulations on the new foal. We maybe back the week of the 16th of April. I will keep you posted.

John,

We were parking our boat in the fork lift slip about 1 PM this afternoon. Theywere launching a boat similar to yours from a trailer. Was that you?

Vince

Nope not me I launched at cotton bayou (see post about cat). We keep it at Romar harbor but are in backwater a lot as we like to go to pirates cove

Vince do the store that 34 inside. How big can they store inside. We are thinking about moving up and like the idea of dry storage

Fun weekend,
We just returned from Orange Beach and had agreat weekend looking at the large moon Friday and Saturday night. We met, in person, Pensacola Jim, wife Debbieand family. They are super nice folks witha beautiful 370 AC. We did a lunchcruise to the Wharf on our 340 DA and a moonlit dinner cruise to Flippers atBear Point on Jim's 370 AC. We did not want to come home. We will be back soon.

Yes Vince it was a fun weekend. We all enjoyed meeting you and Kay! The super moon was very cool. How was your flight home? I take you were able to dodge the storms or did you have the time to beat them in ?

How was Flippers? I have found it to be hit or miss. Both food and service. We love Shipps Harbor Grill at Sportsman marina great service and food.

Flippers was good. We had a couple of scattered rain showers we dodged. Trip home was uneventful. We landed at 2:35, unloaded and had the plane in the hangar by 3. We are looking forward to seeing y'all on our next trip.

We tried Flippers Sat night. Much better then last time. Weather stinks so we are landlubbers this weekend. Will be back next weekend and over the holiday hope to meet y'all.
