Just joined the club. Selling a fishing boat and in the market for my first SEARAY. Looking at 2005-2007 sundancer 280 or 300. Not sure of what size I need to do some weekends on the boat. Do not want to buy too small and have to sell it right away. Any suggestions out there. Located in Maryland. Want to keep boat at MarineMax Gunpowder Marina. Also, how do the stern drives handle for docking. I am used to 200hp outboards. Thanks for any imput. CJAKE

The only one that can answer the size issue is you.

Sterndrives will handle very similarly to OB's. Unless the sterndrives are Bravo III's, then they will perform better.

We moved from a 260 to a 320 this year and it is an incredible difference ! If only I had known I would have gone straight to the 320 ! But then again if that were the case I might be in a 360 by now. We have stern drives and I would not go back !
