NAVIONICS tips, tricks, how to

What tablet are you using?
I had a Samsung tablet previously but ditched that when it got really slow over a few years (factory reset it a few times which would help but eventually slow to a crawl again). I recently purchased an android tablet on Amazon, nothing special or fancy, just one that has GPS built in. I only have Navionics running on it, since it's dedicated to navigation on the boat and nothing else. This is the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y1PSS27/

I'm not endorsing it, just sharing the one that I use. The only complaint I have about it are the volume doesn't go as high as I would like, and the brightness of the screen can be lacking when it's in direct sunlight, other than those issues I'm happy with it's performance.

The automatic route is working for me now, I'm guessing it may have been working the whole time. You have to be patient, a blue bar will scroll from left to right at the top as it redraws the straight line, took about a minute on my phone but it finally worked.

Thank you, that's the one I was looking at, and posted the same Link in another thread here. Good to know you like it.

This relief shading chart is amazing for a more precise view of the bottom. 39AF6AF9-F06B-4B8B-ACCB-9BF8E77719B7.png
