I bought a 1990 350(370) last summer with standard built in swim platform. Does anyone know where I might find the add-on factory type extension platform. I have dogs and grandkids. It looks like they were available as an accessory option from 1992 to 1994. I have seen the aftermarket 3000 dollar ones. I have to do better than that. Here's hoping. Thanks. Dick. Cell is 810 919 9925. Michigan.

Pay the money......it's worth it. Go with swimplatforms.com.

I have heard only bad about other companies than swimplatforms.com,not much but only the bad.

the factory one only has a little over a foot of useable space and is useless in my opinion

swimplatforms.com has 2.5ft of useable space which is better but the price tag is over 3k with shipping

A few places on the internet make platforms what ever size you want and you do some work to cut and make it fit. I will be ordering one from Swim Platform Superstore. The size I want is 120x58 which will give me almost 3.8ft of useable space. It will fit my dinghy nicely and be big enough to make it worth having an extended platform

It seems that the Superstore platforms require supports to stabilize them. That means a bunch of extra holes in the transom ans the water penetration risk associated with said holes. I like that my Swimplatforms.com does not need them.

Has anyone actually bought one from Swim Platform Superstore?

That's correct the swimplatform.com platform has wood stringer supports built in under the platform. The down side of that is more weight and a limit on how big the platform can be. The swimplatform.com platform is shorter and more narrow but weighs more and has only 2.5ft of useable space. Other platforms on the market offer bigger platforms and less weight using SS supports

The problem with drilling into the transom of a boat is most people don't take the time to do it correctly. The key to adding the supports or anything to the transom of a boat is drill the hole bigger then the screw your using then fill the hole with west system epoxy, Next drill the correct size hole into the epoxy that way the core is completely sealed from water intrusion and you will never have issues

A picture of your boat was part of their booth at Annapolis this year. IIRC, someone was fishing off the platform.

That is awesome. It is my son Christopher fishing. I took the pic from our zodiac dinghy.

Sounds like you have a plan.

Good luck, MM

Thanks to all of you that had suggestions. It looks like swimplatforms is the way to go. All I need now is someone traveling from Arizona to Michigan with a large trailer. Kidding. Dick. On to the next question.
