I've bought an 05 420 Sundancer and my hauler is going to get it next Tuesday. Ive got to get the props off and strip the electronics off the hardtop. Hauler can handle the electronics but I need someone to remove the props. Marina tells me they don't have anyone? Any referrals? Thanks.

Call Dave Blaz - Blaz Marine Cell 586-907-1207 or office 586-307-3445

He does a lot of work at MRH.

Thanks. Somebody else gave me his #. Left him a message and no reply yet.

Dave is a good guy, but the season got a late start this year, so I'm sure he has a lot going on. I'd be more concerned about the hauler. He's "yours" and not our local infamous outfit?

Hey thx for the offer. What a mess up there. MI permit still hasn't gone thru, the hoist at Mac & Rays broke. Yes it's my hauler. I hired a Capt to take the boat to Port Clinton this morning. Were pullin out there because we can get a permit in 15min. The MI permit didn't come yet and if I changed the pullout point in MI I'd have to start the process over.

Just curious about a couple of things.....what is the MI permit you mentioned, and what's the name of the "infamous" hauler RollerCoaster mentioned? The sales outfit I bought my boat from tried to steer me to a hauler that had lots of info about him on the internet, and none of it was good.

Not sure about his hauler mentioned but mine is Marine Services out of Camdenton MO. The permit allows the boat to be trailered through the state with a pilot vehicle. You declare the width and clear height and the state will map the route you take to avoid running into any bridges. It will also tell you other advoidances and curfews in certain areas.

Thanks RollerCoastr. NOBODY should have to be his next victim. It's too bad there isn't some kind of national licensing system for haulers that could include a rating system based on customer satisfaction surveys.

Stod, good luck with the haul.

Try Colony marine, they have a great staff.

Thanks everybody. Ive got the boat to my lake and have MUCH bigger problems now that I'll post in the appropriate section. I dropped a cylinder in the first 6 miles of having the boat.
