Need help chasing a lighting issue:

Finally got onto the boat to start my spring maintenance, plugged in the batteries to start charging up and turned on lights throughout and when I tried to turn on the main salon cabin lights nothing came on. There are 4 switches at the top of the stairway, the bilge lights work, cockpit courtesy lights work, the main salon light and the indirect light do not work. So I think I have a bad ground wire somewhere. So the question is, does anyone know where the ground wires would be for these lights? Has anyone experienced a lighting issue like this?

Start at the source. Is there power leaving the breaker or fuse for this lighting circuit?

Before you start chasing grounds, is there power at the switches?

There is power at the breaker, the breaker also operates the other two light switches that work.

Pop off the switch plate and check the wires on the back of the Vimar switches. They have have been known to pop off....
