Need Pics of a 2000 23' BR

Try calling Taylormade directly and see if they can help if you haven't done so already. The 2000 model 230 shares the same hull and deck mold as our '99 models. They may have made some mods, but a call to SR cust. service should be helpful. The 2001-2005 230/240s were freshened and do not share the same deck and hull molds. However, to my eye, the newer models appear to share the same base mount as our 230s, but that is simply a visual observation.
In the meantime, you can look under SeaRay's archive section a have a look at the 2000 and newer 230s. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

You might also want to look in Sea Rays service section on their web site and see if parts manuals are available for download. The manuals usually have parts blowups in them. Here is the link to that section,

I have not found a 2000 boat "physically" to confirm, but looks the same to me:smt101

Have a look at this Boat Trader ad. This 2000 model has a 3 piece windshield. The deck appears to be idenitcal to our '99 models. Once again this is simply a visual observation. Mounting hardware and etc could be in different positions and the deck could be slightly different than ours. However, I would be surprised if SR made significant changes to the last model year for this design.

Was SR Cust. Serv. able to tell you what was different about the 2000 vs. '99 model decks?
Also, try Flounder Pounder Marine, other large SR dealers (MM, Skipper Buds, Hall Marine and etc). I'd be surprised if any of them had windshield for a '99 230, but you never know.

Also what's left of your current windshield and what happened just out of curiousity?
As a last resort, you could send what's left of your current windshield to Taylor and ask them to verifty if it matches the mounts and shape of the 2000/newer design.

I had a 230OV, 1999. I have know idea what the differences would be. I do know that the aluminum extruded frame change in later years to a thicker extrusion. I know that on my Cousin's 2002 225WE this was the case, but I'm not sure if the 2000 or even 2002 did the same but that is my guess. The decking laydown should be the same unless they're warning you that the mounting locations would be different. I'm stumped too.

Luckily no damage to deck:smt001
Original framework had open outer lower molding where the screws went thru and mounted to deck
Not sure if 2000 is the same, hence the ask for pics

Not sure on the 2001, there were 5-6 different ones listed
one was the correct number 1261486 as the 2000
A pic front to rear facing close up would be good
also front to rear looking down one side
and the bottom rail, how it mounts to the deck
