Or whatever it's called. It's getting harder for me to find the "Sweet Spot" for putting my stbd tranny into neutral in order to crank that motor. Where's the switch? What do I do with it? Clean? Adjust? I have to rattle the stbd shifter back and forth to get it into the right spot for the starter to engage.

The switch is on the side of the transmission valve body. It is often confused with the temperature sensor which is also located in the same are and looks very simillar. Put the trans in neutal and take the shift cable off the shift lever on the transmission and observe where it is postioned. You probably need to slightly adjust the end of the cable so that it is the right postion for neutral. You can test the switch by manually putting the trans in neutral with the cable removed and see if the motor will crank. Probably a cable adjustment issue and not a bad switch.

I'll take a look down there - Thanks.
