I don't know that. I just know it's coming out. It would appear so.

I like the big skylight (decklight?) aft of the foredeck hatch, if it can be kept watertight. My wife's biggest complaint on ours is that the cabin feels cave-like.

While I think the sky light is a great idea, it seems like there is no room for anything on the bow of the boat. However, I do seem to like that new 270DA. Hmmm, I am having some itis right now.

I like it, but hey its a new shiney SeaRay, whats not to like!

I like the port lounger & Starboard grill & looks like the dash is decent with room for a c70

While I like the idea of a rear sunpad, I wonder what the cost is to losing the transom locker space.

Helm seating I dont like, looks like a bench seat with a flip back, so that you can drive or face the rear

Skylight is great & needed, but I can picture my 8 year old walking/jumping/crawling on it. If it doesnt break or leak, it will be smudged and scarred.

Bow railing seems a bit goofy.

SKOLBE..........what is the source of your pictures?

It is also my understanding this is the replacement for the 260DA and it will have a wider beam as well.

Here are some more pics for the new 2009 270DA

The only twins on the boat may be blond in swin suits.

With those bow rails and no windless, you would have a little trouble with that anchor maybe?

It's not for me. I don't like the styling. To much freeboard and the "windows" suck. To much frill, on to small a boat. Hows that for feedback.

My wishlist is windlass, generator, a/c heat, hard top, 26-28 ft. trailerable.........and the biggie.........OUTBOARDS! Express fishing cruiser for me I guess. Problem is I rarly fish anymore, and the fish boxes and live wells are a waste of space. I know outboards are kinda ugly, but, how cool is it to be able to tilt the motors clear of the water to eliminate.......elctrolosis, corrosion, or whatever it's called.

Wow. Pretty boat. Love the idea of the skylight but would worry over the upkeep and future leaking issues. It will be interesting to see if the design holds up.

The bow rails look like they will greatly assist in tripping you into the drink vs offering any kind of safety!!

The sunpad looks awesome.

Overall, a beautiful looking boat.

With the newer outboards providing so much better power placement, you should see more and more being offered in boats in the 24-30 foot range.

They are crazy expensive though, but as you noted, the ability to remove them from the water is a big bonus and cuts down on the maintanence big time.

DO YOU ALL REALIZE
THIS IS A 2008 THREAD
THAT WAS BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE
FOR NO GOOD REASON I CAN SEE.

The 270DA was available in 2009.
In 2010 it is called a 280DA

there is always a good reason for a thread... yes there is a windlass availiable. The boat that I am looking at has one with bow foot switches.
