new 79 srv200 open bow, in the middle of a complete redo.just bought

I like the way the floor plan is but i love the floor plan of the new one (which Im going to duplicate in the coming winter months) for now its new carpet, sound system, (painting the vinyl so it looks nice for the next month) lighting and dialing in all the mechanics and safety issues. Ive done some fiberglass and wood repair half way through with the carpet and speakers. oh i cant wait. question the fuel tank is giving me issues has anyone just power washed it and reinstalled it? if so what was the outcome?
