I posted in the 370 thread, but it was suggested I post here too...so what the hell? I'll do it!

We just had new carpets installed in our 95 370. We just bought it two months ago and only have 3 cosmetic things to do. First up carpet. Next, a trio sunpad redo complete with a Sunbrella cover and then the whole Sunbrella top. Here's the carpet job...

Rear seating area. Carpet extended fully under benches with extra step carpet to help keep dirt out of the cockpit are.

Seating area. Rubber trim around the table mount. It helps stop dirt from getting underneath at this point.

Love the companionway. Carpet tucked under cabinet doors and fills from side to side.

Battery and fridge tuck.

Our local guy in Kelowna, Shoreline Canvas & Covers did the job. Doug is great at this and is who we use. Very reasonable and great installer.

Final shot...old helm carpet installed complete with snaps on the dock at the point of entry to the boat.

Hope you've enjoyed!

Very Very Nice , I am awaiting my carpet delivery from Corinthian Textiles any day now too...

The cockpit looks fabulous. I like the fit up against the edge. So is this installed with no snaps - just friction fit?

To be honest with you, I am not a fan of the old cockpit carpet snapped to the finger pier. I think it would be more attractive with a smaller size and more color. Interesting my marina won't let us put anything on the pier like that. Its all gotta be on or in the boat.

Very nice
and I really like the "repurpose" of the old helm carpet

Oops. Double pick. Here's the helm.

Nice looking job..........just put the snaps in mine last week, only took me 4 years, even though the carpet hardly moved, it moved enough to annoy me. While I was putting in the snaps, I was looking at my helm carpet and thinking I should have made that piece wider so it covers that little incline. I open the day hatch every time I get on the boat, next time I need carpet (if there is a next time) I'm thinking about a piece just to cover the day hatch (with snaps) and then wall to wall for the rest, like you did...........retracting those legs and rolling up the carpet to open the day hatch might get real old.

What sunpads are you getting done?

Thanks xravenx...I actually had snaps put on the carpet. I took the pics while Doug was off the boat and heading over to another. Like ZZ13 it aggravates me to no end when the carpets move.

As to the sun pads, the boat had custom cushions made to fit either side of the stock middle pad. The port side one went missing from the boat when the previous owner put them on to show it to another prospective purchaser. It blew away over night...or grew legs, who knows! So we've had a new port pad made. Since we know there will be a shading difference, Doug is making a Sunbrella cover that will fit over the 3 cushions when not in use. He's using the same system to attach the canvas at the forward edge so that it won't come loose when underway. The top end will has elastic to fit under the head portion to stay on at that end.

I'm hoping the new cushion and sunbrella are on next week sometime.

ZZ13...I'm not sure about the dock piece myself, but I have 2 grandkids who track everything around with them. I think we'll hedge our bets for a while and leave it on the dock. The marina folks don't have an issue as most boats have a mat of some sort at the boarding point.

Mark, that new carpet makes the boat look brand new. It appears to be a quality installation, and that always helps too. Can't wait to see it!!!
