I had new cutlass bearings installed in March of 2018. In February of 2019 I had prop work done and the diver mentioned that the port prop was hard to spin.
Fast forward to this weekend - there is a noticeable “squeal” when you try to turn the port prop.
Under power it does not make any strange noises but when you shift into neutral you can hear the squeal as the prop spins to a stop. I dove the boat and site enough, when I spin the prop it squeaks.
The boat is in the Bahamas right now and I’m slated to bring it home next month.
Any thoughts on this?
