I'm in the same boat my 310 I just sold had auto pilot , new chart plotter radar the 340 we just bought has a Cruise Simrad chart plotter. I plan on starting with a Garmin 943xsv with radar that I will mount below the throttle levers on a Ram mount so I can reach it while sitting at the helm.

I installed the 943xsv this year on my 320. Love it. Also replaced the VHF with the 315 - to replace the old Northstar gear that was dying/died.
