Welcome aboard mate! You say, keep her for another year. Are you trading up? Also, I noticed in your sig, 5.0 BII. That's what I'm running in my 240. I think the 5.0 is small for my boat. How well can it be for your 260?
Nice to have you with us.

Hi,
I have had my 260 Sundancer for almost three years now but just found this forum.
I live in Devon, England and work in a cafe/take-away on the marina where I keep the boat. Very handy!
'Sophia' has been a terrific boat and hopefully we'll keep her for at least another year.
Here are some pictures of her.

Thanks.
The 5.0 seems to be fine in the 260. I cruise at about 24 knots and she does 30 flat out. Plenty fast enough for me. With petrol (gas) at £1.18 (almost $9/US Gallon) on the marina it's big enough! I wanted the Bravo II drive because I read too many horror stories of corrosion on Bravo III drives when kept in salt water.

I'm always thinking of trading up to something bigger, isn't everyone?
I've decided to keep her for another year and then possibly look at buying something bigger in the Med. The weather in the UK is usually rubbish and I quite fancy cruising around Mallorca. Maybe the beginning of 2009, we'll see.
I'm surprised I've kept the SeaRay this long but it's been such a great boat that I would be sad to see her go.

Adrian.
