Are you launched already? I’ll be heading to the marina Monday to do some small maintenance work. I’ll be sure to check it out

    We’re at Amber 158

    Good Morning Rich,

Not yet launched. It arrived at KAM Marine Friday. A small punch list and reinstallation of the Radar arch, electronics, etc. But hopefully in a couple weeks.

We'll be at Mr Mac #44

    Cheers....Brad

Brad...we are in 124 Amber. I plan to take the shrink off Wednesday, get it waxed by Friday then, hopefully, launch next week if there is a good weather day. Feel free to stop by or let me know when you are in.

By the way, there is a club (Mac Ray Yacht Club) made up of people at Mac Ray primarily. The club hosts 4 to 5 cruises annually, monthly activities throughout the winter months, a Commodores Ball, Christmas party, progressive dock party, and other miscellaneous activities throughout the year. It is great way to meet people and travel to new ports. The cost is only $225 annually. More info is available at www.macrayyachtclub.com. Typically there are about 75 boats in the club each year.

Let me know if you'd like more info.

Good luck with the reassembly and with your launch.

    Jim

Good Morning Jim, Well good luck with the shrink wrap given the snow we woke up to eh? Geeeez. But its supposed to warm up. I was actually really close to getting Amber 174 but then an old friend of mine referred me to someone that bought his old slip on Mr Mac (48) and that guy had already paid his rent on 44.

Are you in the MRYC? Because the couple, Scott and Janet, whom i rented 44 from told me about the club. My wife Jennifer and I went to their meeting two weeks ago and joined. I thought the same thing that you're saying that it would be a great way to meet people and get better acclimated with boating. Met a lot of great people that night. I did get the invite the other day for the Commodores Ball. Not sure if we are going yet. I think the deadline is coming up to sign up for it. The club sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Brad...yes we have been in the club for about 13 years now. I served on the board for 9 years. Good group of people and they are always coming up with new activities. I think you'll enjoy it. We were unable to make the member meeting as we were out of town.

Looking forward to meeting you soon.
    Jim
