At agr 52 I finally get to buy my first boat - well I have bought a few tini tini old beater 14 foot fishingboats, and we did sail a nice 24 foot teak yauch in hong kong for 7 years way back in the British HK days.
Got my pilots ( plane ) lic# in New Zealand back then but cant afford to fly anymore. Now living in the SF Bay Area. CA.
Love to fly fish, but wanted to have more time with dad ( getting on ) and wanted to learn the Delta - Bass - strippers - etc.
Found a 1977 Sea Ray 240 Weekender with newer motor 300 hours Volvo 255HP - Dual Prop Outdrive - New Stringers - New Transome - Boat looks like its been taken care of - Hull has lots of hours ( 600 ).
Love to have ANY Input === will buy this boat next week after inspection -
