I have been looking for about a year, with the pandemic the boat market is hotter than ever. Went to FL to look at a boat advertised by a broker, didn't go well! But the sea trial was in the keys so that made things a little less disappointing. Finally went north for my boat that was primarily used on lake Champlain, she was in heated storage and it was about 20 degrees out up near Plattsburgh, NY the first time my wife, daughter and I went to see her.

Survey came out good and she has approx. 615hrs. on the engines. Needs some bottom paint, a few new hoses and a replacement for the stock SC5000 smart craft that is faded out. No pictures yet because it's packed in next to other boats but I'll try to put something up.. This will be a long winter for me!

If anyone has a similar boat who has done upgrades or other work please let me know, I'm always happy to get an education. My previous boat was a 1997 Chaparral 27 Signature which I got many good years out of. Thanks, and glad to be on this forum.

Congrats on the new boat and welcome to the forum. We bought our 360DA October 2019 and spent last winter going through the 360DA forum linked below which has a wealth of information.

It’s a great boat and we really enjoyed our first year with it. Are you on the South Shore or North Shore? We’re at the Anchorage in Lindenhurst.

Thanks for the link! I'm from Massapequa and looking for a slip now, went to Anchorage today and got the list of rentals but I didn't see anything (except a slip with a 14' width which I think would be overkill) that would fit. Looking at Bergen Point and East Shore now, I keep hearing that covid has made the marinas very busy and pickings slim.

Just out of curiosity, what width is your slip? So I have something to gauge it by, I think we have a 12.6' beam if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think a slip can be too wide, within reason. Too narrow and you'll have issues. I've slipped both my 340 and now my 400 in a 16' wide slip. I've never wished it was smaller! I actually wish I had an 18-20' wide slip for that "next boat"...:)

We were in your position last year before the pandemic and were lucky enough to get a slip on “D” dock which is where my wife wanted to be. I agree with Stee6043 and our slip is 14’ 6”. With a 12’ 6” beam I don’t feel like it is too big. East Shore owns the high and dry as well as wet slips within the Anchorage with all the same amenities so it’s just a matter of who you write your check to. Unless I’m mistaken I do not believe Bergen Point has finger docks if that matters to you. Fell free to send me a PM if you have questions I might be able to answer about the Anchorage.

Thanks,
I sent you a PM (I think) still new to getting around this site. Let me know if it didn't go through- John

Congrats on your new boat!
We have a 02, and love it!
Upgraded to flat screen TV's, with DVD players and Apple TV (overkill, I know).
New stereo remote at the helm, and a new HD TV antenna.
New project (maybe) is davits for the Zodiac. Still in the research stage.
There is a ton on information here regarding maintenance, cleaning, etc. If you can't find it, just ask.

Congrats!
