New to this site. Live in Cornville AZ. Boat at Lake Powell (love it). If you haven't been on Powell you need to do it. I have a 2000 210 Searay with 5.0 305 CID engine and after I run it for awhile and then slow down for a no wake zone it will die. I have to remove the fuel filter and fill it up, it will be down a couple of inches. Does anyone here know what causes this.

I'm surprised that this hasn't had more answers for you, but you might try reposting in sport boats with the question in your title.
My boat did something similar a while back, it was the Idle control valve. I have a divergent engine, so I could be wrong. Search of IAC valve
