New tv....no signal

My Glomex antenna is shot. Before I go buy a new one, do I actually need it if I plan to just hook up to cable at my dock?

I belive Glomax gives a lifetime warranty so don't just throw it away. If you hook up cable to your TV's while at the dock the antenna is not needed.
