Capt Ron took good care of us putting us on the C-dock, stern toward the Resort, next to good friends from last year and 3 slips down from our good friend Jay and his 420 (CSR calendar 2009 December).

Clouds passed for a while, then it cleared up

These birds came to cheer Shelli up. Later, they landed on every pole around our boat

I turn up the stereo and watch live concerts - in stereo (audio and video)

T-6's flew around just about every day

We rode bikes from the Golf course, across 98 (underneath) to the beach

John....go ahead....rub it in to us Northerners.....

The pics look great....insert many levels of jealousy to those still boating in JANUARY!!!!!

Cool trip John, How is Capt Ron's Wife? Great guy. One of our best trips was when we cruised from PCB and stayed at SanDestin before the CSR PCB trip. Capt Ron got MS Judy a transit slip next to the Gas pumps for the week. If you ever zoom in on google earth you can see the picture Judy took and posted there.

I don't know anything about Capt Ron's wife. I hope all is well. I'll check Google Earth.

OK, that sucks that Tim posted a pic of 2 dudes seconds before I wrote my compliment to the trio of blondes... That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

LMFAO...that's funny....:smt043

The swim platform on a swim platform is great. The presentation of the back of the 420 with the lift on it is simply awesome. We've had margarita machines on that thing at the beach.

How often do you see eagles? The pool we boat in has a weekend for "Eagle Watch" during January. Many of them gather below the tail water of the Lock 10 dam for their daily diet of omega 3...

It seems we see them just about every time we travel in the ICW, either East or West to/from the Panama City area, but not when it's hot out, I don't think. They must winter in this area. Also, we see them soaring around Tyndall AFB a few times a year. We've seen one eating a fish on the beach one winter.

Checked google earth to make sure the picture of MS Judy was still there. Man, the Google Earth view really shows the sand bars on the approach and yep, MS Judy is still there.

That ain't a swim platform, its a deck! NICE:thumbsup:

John,

Great pictures!!! I wish we could have gone but some of us have to work!!!!! :)

We missed you guys. See you soon, at the beach. I tried to call you 2 days ago. Your phone doesn't go to voice mail, it just stops ringing. We had planned on going to Shell Island tonight, but the winds are going to be strong out of the North in the AM, so we're hanging out at the house again tonight. It's been kind of fun. I've kitesurfed 3 out of the last 4 days.
