Hi all, I'm Steve and I've just joined the site, living in Ottawa Canada and I'm hoping to get some good info prior to my purchase for next season.

Hi Steviep53, welcome aboard from a fellow Canadian. I boat in Georgeon Bay Ontario. I am looking to actually downsize my boat from the 30ft I have to a 26ft Sea ray Sundancer. Love the Express Cruiser I have but don't need this much boat as 90% of the time it's just the wife and I. You will meet some very helpfull people out here that give very good advise. Fire away with the questions as you will find your answer on this board.

hello, justin here. new to the site, and excited about reading what other sea ray owners are up to.

hello, justin here. new to the site, hoping to read some good stuff about sea ray boats!

Hey Guys.
Welcome.

One thing most people new to the site don't realize is that there is an amazingly vast pool of knowledge here. What you can't do is say:

"tell me about SeaRays" or "I need to know it all before next Friday, because I want to buy a boat"

If there are specific things you are interested in, you can try a "search" in the upper right hand corner below the SeaRay boat.

If you, let's say, are looking for a used late model 28' SeaRay(280DA~Sundancer).
There will be many questions that you have. You can use the search and read on, then ask pertinent questions in that thread or maybe it's not specific enough and you can can start your own thread(s).

Do you want a single screw or twins?
What is the expected fuel burn for twins v. a single 7.4
yada, yada yada
Whatever you do try and be specific and you'll have everyone here coming to either assist you by answering specific questions or asking you questions back to narrow it down.

One word of caution is that everone on here is not a boating expert and a lot of information is not correct or it is simply opinion.

Again welcome to the site, but once you read a few more threads you'll see that the more information you give the more accurate the responses may be if we can help you narrow it down
