Pics Added. Newer Sundeck Owners!!!

Proud to say that wife and I have just come to an agreement on a 2005 200 Sundeck. Boat is absolutely mint with only 27 hours!!! Color scheme is Pewter/Pearl with black canvas on a tandem galvanized trailer.
Looking at other comparable boats, this seemed reasonably priced at 25K, what do you guys think?

We looked at an '06 Four Winns and the fit and finish was truely inferior compared to the Sundeck. Made the decision much easier. Now I need to buy a CSR Burgee!

I thought that's what it was. I'm a big ower myself. So big of an ower, my wife says I can stick that 2 foot-itis crap up my......
anyways great looking boat. Hope all goes great for you.

Sweet looking boat, when do you pick it up? Why so few hours on a 2005? Where has it been sitting for the last 2+ years? Quick search on yacht-world found 9 2005 27K to 37K

Well.....According to the dealer, the owner's husband passed away during this summer and they had purchased it the summer previous.
I will be able to pick her up this week if all goes well.
Trying to find the best financing for a portion of it at the moment.
Should I be concerned about the low hours? I figured it wasn't old enough yet to worry about low usage.....Everything is mint on the boat....Should I be suspicious?

No I would not worry about the hours it's only a 05. Was just wondering. Would just do a thorough inspection. Make sure there is no rodents nest hiding in it.

The only issue you might have on low hours is you get more hours to have fun with it! :smt038 I will second the rodent search if it was storaged outside. Mice and Squirels love boats to store their winter food supply. :smt021 Other than that boat should be fine.

Good luck!

OK thanks for the feedback. I thoroughly crawled through everything and became quite the contorsionist on Saturday. Initially I was a bit dissaopinted that there was no in floor storage however that fear went away really quick. These decks are loaded with storage, I love the cooler stow-away which keeps you from having to ask the same person to keep getting up so you can get into the cooler.

The first mod I would like to do is the transom trim switch, I saw a thread about this before.

No name yet....Thought she was small to name but what the heck.

I always referred the first oneto my wife as "the mistress" which kinda evolved to "miss-stress" having somewhat of a double meaning.

With a last name of Weaver, not sure what to do. Have had the nickname "dream" for a while.
Get creative guys.

What Four Winns did you look at that the fit and finish wasn't there? I might be upgrading from my SR To a FW in the near future and I think their fit and finish is just fine. Can't wait to see pics....if I had a 200 Sundeck I don't think I'd be upgrading...they are sweet boats!

Thanks Fire.....I looked at the Horizon 220 an 06 model. While it was a really nice craft, in my opionon there were a couple smaller things that added up to give me a general feeling about the boat. An '06 with 13 hours should not have rusting cupholders of which some were loosened already. The windshield, in my opinion was flimsy as was the upholstery.
Please don't get me wrong, it was a nice boat, but with a 30K price tag I personally felt that it wasn't up to snuff.
There were a few things on my old 1992 180 that seemed more durable than the FW.
The difference in fit and finish was dramatic enough that my wife actually brought it up. Mind you she was a HUGE advocate of the FW 220 due to the layout, sunpad, etc. She fell in love with the Sundeck........THANK YOU Sea Ray!
Made my life much easier.
On a side note, we did step aboard some larger cruisers at teh Norwalk, CT show and the cruisers seemed top notch to comparable models. Cobalt and Chap also looked really nice as well, but then again I dont own that type of boat so I dont know exactly what to look for.

Dang and I was just looking at a 05 210 which became the 220 in 06. I think I need to see a Sundeck in person!

Congrats Weave! I'm certain you'll enjoy the ride! Did you get a trailer with ittoo?

If you did you can bring the new addition to Florida to boat in the winter ... :smt038

Fire, please look at both and don't take just my work for it. Get in, look , feel,
Ahhh yeah, she has a nice galvanized tandem trailer with disk brakes. I am going to see ehr this weekend for the final once over. I will take some more pictures Sat.
I am scheduled to take delivery on Sat, Oct 13.

Man is this gonna be a LONG north east winter!!!! We need to plan a CSR rendevous at Lake George or Lake Winepesaukee. I've got the itch already!!!!
