Glad I didn't set up the NMEA 2000 backbone yet. The M330G from Icom isn't 2000. It must be 0183. I thought for sure it was 2k when I bought it.

Well now you went and learned some useless stuff you don't need now. Good for you, welcome to boating. Now you just need to twist some wires together and your done!

Lol. Far from useless. Now I know alot about NMEA2k. I'm sure I'll add some electronics that'll use it at some point.
This saved me some time in the end. I moved all the wiring from my old Carling switches and ptr breakers to my newly painted panel today. I thought I was going to have to wait to get more parts. Now I don't.
