Northstar 6000i GPS

Anyone have experience with this unit....reliability, etc.

It was a pain in ........, to find a guy to install it, but after installation works great after 8 months - -

I have a 958 and a 6100. Could not be happier! I installed both units including radar, weather, cameras (sat tv is also viewable). Very simple to operate. The 958 has had a couple of firmware upgrades, I downloaded, saved on a cf card and did the update.

Anyone have experience with this unit....reliability, etc.

I also have the 6000i - great unit to run with your smartcraft gauges! I have been happy with my unit.

If I was buying new, I would probably go with a touch screen Garmin.
