Northstar and Smartcraft

My boat has the Northstar 6100i that was installed by the previous owner. When I pull up the Smartcraft screen my engine trim guage on the display is constantly fluctuating when the engine is trimmed all the way down. If I trim the engine up a bit while on plane, the guage on the display is accurate. Does anyone else with this type of set up have the same problem?:huh:

The "trim angle" you see is based on both the outdrive postion and the attitude of the boat (bow-up or bow down). Thus you will see it change even when you are not adjusting trim as the boat comes on plane or comes off plane.

See if a new calibrate will fix the issue. On mine (557), you start the calibrate function in the GPS, trim down, trim up, and trim trailer and that sets it properly. Not sure this will fix the issue, but an easy thing to try.
