Obsolete Windshield Replacement

Hi, Has anyone had to have a windshield custom made to replace a Taylor Made OEM on thier SeaRay? If so how did it turn out ,and who did it? I had a snow laden roof colapse on my 1988 270 DA last month. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.

It shouldn't be too bad to have one cut. The problem will be matching it with the other windows. A good glass shop should be able to help and Taylor Made might be the first place to start.

I had to replace a broken center tempered glass windshield when I still had my 280da. Was not a problem. MarineMax wanted over $1100 to $1500 range to replace it depending if needed new frame work or not.

Just removed one screw and removed entire framework. Took to local glass shop where they made a pattern to fit the frame. From there that ordered a custom made glass that was tempered to the exact specs as the Taylor made. All for just under $100 !! Good as new and cannot tell difference in it from the other windshield glass.
