Does anyone know where I could find the late 80's brochures for Sea Ray? The Sea Ray website is incomplete in their offerings for the late 80's.

They occasionally pop up on eBay. Check there, otherwise it's gonna be tough to find.

That's too bad. Guess I'll keep my eyes open on eBay.

BTW, did your mechanic ever get back to you on the size of the GFO? I measured my packings but they leaked so badly I question if they were correct or not.

I left him a VM and haven't heard back yet. Sometimes he doesn't check it and you have to call him a few times to get him. I've been busy enough with this FL stuff and haven't had a chance to try again. Ill let you know as soon as I do.

New canvas showed up today and I couldn't even be there.... Slip neighbor called, I think just to tease me some. He said it really makes the hard top sharp.....this waiting to see sucks

Went down to the boat today after work to drink some and have a crew meeting for the upcoming months work load. Signature Canvas did one heck of a job! I can now use my cockpit without crawling under and it was nice and warm. With the new front panels and side sections there was plenty of light. This was the best money spent yet! They installed snaps into the frame of my hardtop so the front can be unzipped and snapped up and out of the way. If you live in our area and need canvas work, this would be the place to go. Photos will come tomorrow

Quick update on Lucky's Deuce got the new oval cockpit table installed. I had done that rectangular one last year when I added the L lounger but after a season we decided we didn't like the shape, plus the recessed base that came with it was plastic. I got an oval shaped table which I think looks much nicer and it came with an aluminum base. I got new zinc's yesterday for the salt water; 2 for the tabs and one for the hull. I ordered 2 fresh water flush kits yesterday and tomorrow morning my canvas guy will be at the boat to install the new camper top. Boat leaves Monday (3/4) for Florida and arrives that Thursday. I have it scheduled to be on the hard for 2 days in which time I'm going to touch up bottom paint and install my new Hurley davit system. I also have a detailer scheduled for that Friday to come and compound/wax the entire boat. I'm hoping to get bottom paint, davit and flush kits installed by late Friday and splash is scheduled for that Saturday. Gonna be a busy couple days but I am SOOO looking forward to working on the boat in 80 degrees and sun vs 4 degrees and snow! That's the update for now...

Shouldnt you be packing?I was slow at work today but my new job is too far from the boat to drive up at 11am and get anything done by 4pm,so i will be rubbing her out saturday,for the next six weeks i imagine.Did you have any problems finding a hauler this time of year?Seems they might be busy for the boat shows.Did you make the gr show and meet up with moparlvr?

I should be packing, but work best under pressure so won't start until the end of next week. I did not have a problem finding a hauler. I had a few I was talking with and ending up going with the one who had the most fitting schedule with my move. We made the Miami boat show, but not the GR. Jim and Kathy ended up going to the GR show Saturday and we flew in Sunday. We did, however meet them for lunch in GR after we landed and had a very nice visit with them!

most of those were the 470,there were a few of a 370 whaler(nice),but not as nice as the mermaid!

Shaun, you'll laugh...no pics. I've just been enjoying the curtains and canvas....they did one hell of a job. It was blowing a gale today while I was working on the new blowers. It was warm and so nice! I worked to finish those, the neighbor came down and started to give me a hard time. He calls working on the front area of the engines, mating with the engine.... I never knew why till today :lol:

Well... tomorrow I get to hear the motors run and then hand over the $$$... By 3pm tomorrow I will be the owner of an 88 300 Weekender... Now if we could only get some warm weather!!!!
