Has anyone come up with some unique storage solutions in their 290?

Does anyone use their floor compartment to store anything?

How about if you have the B floor plan with the permanent berth. Do you use any of the cubby holes under the bed for anything?

Has anyone added shelving in the mid berth closet?

Both closets i installed a shelf and a closet pole.
I store all my towels and blankets in the left side. Front under table is 2 spair props and all spair parts i might need. right side is tools and bed platform

Jeff did you custom make then and put the stainless wrap on or did you get lucky and find them somewhere? If custom made very nicely done.

I custome made them..made out of 3/4 teak, on a ss L bracket with ss front lip, the lip is 1 1/2 so shit dont slide off. 1 1/2 ss closet pole. All from home depot. Gotta protect my captain dickskin cap at all times.

 

[Starting Over]

The Queen and I are ready, everything is back on at the marina, going to pickup a low powered pressure washer for the hull. Just haven’t been feeling that great and for me it’s too cold still. Here’s what I replaced my battery charger with and haven’t looked back.

Hey GirlyGirl, how difficult was the charger install you mentioned here? Haven't been running my charger since I discovered it is boiling batteries, and I've gotten to the boat with a dead battery twice now. Time to update the charger... doesn't seem terribly difficult, but electricity isn't my specialty either..

Hey group, I’m heading to the boat in a few hours to put new dock lines on and maybe a few small projects before it gets stupid hot. Let me know if anyone needs any pictures of anything. On another note, we took it on a nice long ride to the North end of the lake where our friends live to see if we could clear a railroad bridge, all good so we are going again the weekend of the 29-31 to work on our overnight abilities. Should be fun.

Posted this in another section but I added shelves to the front cabinet. Was getting very cluttered in there. Planning on doing the same to the mid cabin cabinet.

Give me a minute Jeff, I did mine and the one for the head mirror (on my boat) is the same, I either got them from FP or West Marine.

Anybody replace the fresh water pump. Mine just took a shit and tried to order the shur flo but cant find the shur flo 2088 432 244 series that end in the same # 244. When i looked it up it says the jansco parmax is the best replacement. Any help would be great

Jeff I bought a 2088 544 144 and a Shurflow 255 313 strainer. The combo work great but now you have me concerned if the pump is safe for the ER. I have not had and issues so far and the strainer is easier to clean. It has enough juice for the shower if you’re not using anything else.
