Was this plug and play or did it require a lot of rewiring?
My tech has done this, saw the end results briefly a few months back. The hatch was standing straight up, he then pulled the engine out with a lift. Unfortunately, I don’t know where he secured it, but I did see ropes attached to the cleats, and 2x4 propping it open, but the 2x4s were not load bearing, just a precaution in case it did come forward. Thanks Korkie, so will it flop over backwards then? I was going to use lines to the aft cleats and maybe two support poles underneath.
I am guessing that is really hard, if not impossible, to replace. Have you thought about trying a repair, I want to say there is a way to weld plastic, and that is such a hard to see part, might be good enough. Not too many people are going to be staring at it to see if it is perfect.Hey guys I posted this a while back and didn't get any usable answers -
I have a crack in this unit in my Sea Ray 320 2003 - looking to replace during off season while being completely renovated interior - any idea where I can get replacement or any ideas
Do you think this could be fitted to a 2003? It has Smart Craft but not like 2005 and above...Pretty much plug and play.

Thank youAnd you need a standard PC cable, don’t buy the west marine 120V universal power adapter. 35$ for a PC cable is crazy.

One of the best upgrades/fixes I’ve done so far. New fridge for galley. Super easy, fits right in. I forgot to bring a standard PC cable for the 120v, but I’ll do that next time I’m down. There is a 120v outlet right behind it to plug into.

Love the Flooring - would like to know how you did it and what the story is - interested in learning about it.
PS - I did the same fridge upgrade and it also went flawlessly and was super easy upgrade. Although I bought the fridges in Feb and installed in May and when I opened it there was a ding in the door - nothing I could do - sucks for $1000 fridge.
Ive replaced mine as well. The originals are angled but the replacements do not need to be. All kinds of space back thereQuestion on the cockpit fridge. I’m waiting for mine to die (2004). Isn’t the port back of the refrigerator angled? Replacement is “plug and play”?
I had to strip the DC wires, and drill holes in the flange of the fridge. Don’t recall it being angled, but it is still only 2.7 cubic ft, so it is not technically larger, but it looks like it? I replaced the cockpit a few years ago, then replaced it under warranty a month ago (the knob in the back would spin forever, so impossible to know the setting, and the latch broke, so if you accelerated, door would fly open). That was truly plug and play, these fridges use a removable DC and AC plug, so I just unplugged and plugged in new one.Question on the cockpit fridge. I’m waiting for mine to die (2004).
