I'm not overly impressed with the digital sounding boat horn on my boat. Has anyone replaced the horn with a better sounding horn that still fits in the current spot (i.e. Starboard bow)? Thanks.

I changed mine out with a standard one from West Marine. Sounds better, but it doesn’t fit perfectly.I'm not overly impressed with the digital sounding boat horn on my boat. Has anyone replaced the horn with a better sounding horn that still fits in the current spot (i.e. Starboard bow)? Thanks.
I've done mine with 1 Gallon but it's tight. If I remember I skimped at the end andThis will be my first time painting the bottom on my 320. I will be using an Ablative paint and rolling it on. Can anyone tell me how much paint I need? Thanks
Thanks!I've done mine with 1 Gallon but it's tight. If I remember I skimped at the end and
may have thinned remaining paint to complete job. My exhaust, rudders, prop shafts
and trim tabs are all painted which adds to my usuage. I have always used Petit Hydrocote black, and have been very happy. The last 4 years or so I have just touched up spots that were needed as I felt I had too much built up paint and have used a quart each season with good results

Welcome to CSR.Hi there fellow 320DA enthusiasts! I finally got around to joining CSR and am looking forward to many years of boat talk. We actually got our "New-to-us" 2005 320 Sundancer last spring, but I've been keeping busy the last 9 months or so trying to familiarize myself with my new toy and all its' systems. It's also taken me a lot of that time reading the 180+ pages on this official 320 thread as well as a few other threads. The more I read, the more I learn - and the more I understand I still have a lot to learn! I know I will have a ton of questions, and I hope to be able to contribute some meaningful answers along the way - but for now I just wanted to sat "Hi!".

1427A-K Sea Ray Midnight Blue
I have the 5.7 horizons, if I load the boat with say, a total of 7 people its tight and all the weight is in the back. The boat has an inherent tilt to it, bowup ride. If you look back while underway, it looks like the guests are in a sunken living room seat.Good Evening all.
I had a 320 for years with the 6.2 FWC motors... anyway I was out of the sea ray for a while and now potentially may go back to a 320 but looking at one with the twin 350 FWC. I load my boat with people, cooler, full water and full fuel. Wondering if there’s much of a difference of getting up onto plane and cruise rpm etc. The 6.2s I had to run at every bit of 3800 to stay on plane. Any info would be great.
TIA
Sorry been away for a bit. If you havent done this already just strip all the old fabric and foam off the old bolsters. Cut them down to prefered size and reupholster. It will look like it came from the factory when you are finished.I've removed the bolsters in my V-berth and gained a lot of sleeping room. Now I'm looking for refinishing ideas to cover the exposed fiberglass shelf. Anyone have ideas and pictures to share?
Nice! That is helpful.Sorry been away for a bit. If you havent done this already just strip all the old fabric and foam off the old bolsters. Cut them down to prefered size and reupholster. It will look like it came from the factory when you are finished.
New 1/2” sew foam glued to hull, new vinyl glued to foam. Bolsters test fit before upholstery and after.

I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if I'm not in synch. I'm looking to upgrade to a 2003 SRay 320 Sundancer mercruiser 5.7liter twin v-drive inboard and concerned that it only puts out 260hp total 510hp(2 engines). Is that enough power to plane the boat?
FYI, I was able to order this colour today in a paste repair kit directly from Spectrum. Seems to be in stock. Thanks HappyG, the spectrum site is out of stock. thats not a good sign if the manufacturer is out.
