Official 370 Sundancer thread

Russ..... I just recently listed it with a local broker.....have no offers yet......but I hope to get some action in the spring. If not we'll " suffer " thru another season [:)]

Happy New Year to all.... Just a quick question, looking for the part number of the light strip that goes behind the switches on the dash (starboard side) My Sea Ray cannot locate the part number...

Thanks

To all interested, while planning a week trip to the South Shore of LI for this coming summer it seems we have started a possible grass roots CSR Rendevous. Anyone interested please chime in on the NorthEast Forum, South Shore Help. Maybe we should start a new thread and see where it goes. Anyway we are thinking the beggining of August somewhere between Westhampton and Greenport. Truly in the planning stages. Thoughts?:smt038

There are 3 light strips listed in the parts manual, what size is the one you are looking for?

Hi Ron, No problem I hope it works out for you. I figure 7 or 8 weeks the cover is coming off. I launch April 3rd. Cant wait. NY Boat Show this next weekend, anyone going?

Hello all

Guess I really do have the spring fever bug - can't stay away from here or my boat. Now looking for a dash cover - anyone ever purchased one? Tired of the towel look!

Thanks
Ron

Are you kidding? I check here every day.

As far as dash cover, my boat came with the original Sunbrella cover. I understand it was a $1,200 option from Sea Ray. Gotta believe that it would cost much less than that to have it made.

April !!!!!!! You guys are lucky. We usally have to shoot for Memorial Day.

Re: New and have a question

Hello Everyone,

I'm RJ, and I'm pulling the trigger on a 1995 Sundancer 370. Waiting for the calendar to get into March so we can unwrap her and do sea trials. Reading this forum has really answered a lot of questions my wife and I had and it really helps us to believe we made the right choice on boats.

Now, although lots of questions have been answered, I do have a few others that we're hoping you can help with:

1. I keep seeing mention that the radar arch was raised in 1998(ish). I'm a hair over 6', anyone thing I'll have a problem with the set up of the 1995 with the isinglass in place? I don't usually stand up while driving, except docking, etc. But just wanted to hear from my other 6' friends

2. Camper enclosure. I've seen a few on this site. The boat doesn't come with one and it's a PRIORITY for us. We want isinglass with the screens and zip sections for venting. There was one boat on this site with a very nice shape on the camper, EXCEPTIONAL visibility (both key for us). Any ideas on types, reputable vendors in the Chesapeake Bay/Potomac (near DC) area? Any companies to STAY away from?

I think that's MORE than enough for my first post. Everyone be safe. We'll see you on the water soon!!

Hello Everyone,

Reading this forum has really answered a lot of questions my wife and I had and it really helps us to believe we made the right choice on boats.:smt038 Congrats!!

But just wanted to hear from my other 6' friends I am 6'1" and have no problems at all. I actually prefer the lines of the boat with the lower arch. I will admit I often take down the canvas in the summer and do enjoy the freedom to stand (and the sun). I see a lot of folks not only do not remove the bimini but will leave up the camper back as well. Not for me - I enjoy the open design of the express and let the sun shine in.:smt038 Maybe a nice zippered hatch in the canvas to stick your head out while docking?

Any companies to STAY away from? cant help you here, not from the area and I am having a camper back made this year:huh:

I think that's MORE than enough for my first post. Everyone be safe. We'll see you on the water soon!!
