Official 370 Sundancer thread

Sorry, I'm getting excited so I had to post more pics. They started prepping her for me this Monday.

My Wife saw these pics and the first thing I got on text was, "Is that trailer big enough?". Made me laugh.

Thanks much New Buffalo. One would think they'd have an access panel of some kind already installed. Knowing how much fuel one has is, IMO, one of the more important aspects of safe, hassle free boating. Thank again.

Hey all,

I just finished cleaning and polishing all the SS around the glass windshield and notice the 1" or so rubber gaskets at the bottom of the windshield (all three sections) are dried and cracked with some small sections missing and or torn out. I saw some discussion on the gaskets for the power window (I need those as well) but couldn't find anything on the large gaskets.

has anyone replaced the gaskets and if so, where's a good place to get them and how do you do it? Do they just pull out and one just "feeds and stuffs" the replacements in? Hope someone can provide some advise.

I am going to redo my canvas, want to add a camper back. I am going to extend the rear bimini to the rear seat do a cantilever without supports in the corners.. has anyone done this? I think i have seen pictures but cant find them now.

any design tips? any pictures of support design?

if you have can people sit in the rear bench with out hitting their heads on the canvas?

just a few questions for you...
did your canvas use thick tubes?(like 1 1/4") are the the 2 supports on the arch enough? does it vibrate when cruising? how far back did you extend it? can people sit in the back bench without hitting their heads?

thanks for the pictures

The tubes are the same dia. as the original ones.
Canvas guy said that was as far back as he could go without adding more supporrts
There was some vibration where a small bolt goes thru each supporting pole
The top ends where the rear seat starts
Yes, you can sit on the rear seat without hitting your head

O.K....... I wanted extra shade but wasn't going to ruin the lines of the boat to get it, just don't like the look of squared off camper canvas. So this is what I came up with, the two supporting poles are really handy for stepping up onto the sides. Cured the vibration with little plastic bushings. The new frame actually connects to the original mounts towards the upper part of the arch. Turned out great, couldn't be happier with it.

If you have anymore questions ask away..........I have mores pics as well

I like that a lot.
Need to do something like that instead of a boxed out rear.
Do you have a pic with the aft curtain zipped in also?
Can you please post...Thanks!

Greetings all

Question! Port side, engine compartment, all the way forward, a gray drain pipe, maybe 1/2 inch in diameter... I have water coming out of this pipe and I have no clue where its coming from The starboard side also has a gray drain pipe, but that one is for the hot water heater.. Any ideas????

Thanks

Cmon guys! You all know how great the 370 is and mine is a great example and well priced. Anyone know of anyone 370 shopping? I'm not giving her away but she is well equipped and taken care of, there are several guys on this forum that have been on board and can speak to equipment and shape. She is advertised on this site and yacht world. I really hate to see her sitting on land while I drive by, kind of feels like cheating.

Thanks for the pic!
BTW, Does anyone know what about a 98 370 Dancer was going for when new?

My wife and I have owned and still own 1989 21' Donzi Regazza and just bought a 99 370 with twin 7.4 L inboards a week ago. I just found Club Sea Ray and entire thread on 370s today and am excited to learn there is an entire community devoted to Sea Rays and this entire thread devoted to 370's. This is amazing and can't wait to read this entire thread in my spare time when I am not doing projects on the boat. I've already had fun finding the one outlet with the "reset" button in the cabin (after an hour of looking it was under the mirror in the head. This truely is an amazing boat and have gotten numerous comments. We currently have it on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, MN and plan to eventually get her up to Lake Superior and other Great Lakes....also our last name is Fuller, hence the name will be "Great Full". I will be visiting this site often and can't wait to get feedback from other Sea Ray owners and 370 owners in particular.
