Has anyone put sun pads (reclining) on the bow? The hatch windows make it kind of a weird spot. I guess just install them towards the front but might lol funny?

We had one made up to fit down the center. 4inch firm foam with a unzip-able mesh on the backside in-case it would need changed out.

Got the new black stardust colored panels in today. I love the new look. I am going to see if they make the smaller top left on to match as well. I put the new depth finder in the center so I can just widen the hole when I upgrade all the electronics next season. The new cockpit carpet and swim platform SeaDek go in tomorrow. All new cockpit upholstery and a wooden cockpit table I am having made with cupholders is going week after next. If I wanted to stay married and pay my mortgage the Axiom and other equipment had to be put on old a bit haha.

Side note. My old wood burl panels are in really good shape. Also have the original Raymarine CE0191 Plotter and the Raytheon Ray220 VHF. I saw the old plotter listed on Ebay for $500?? Is there really a market for this stuff? I chunked the cables like a moron but still have both units.

I sent you a PM.

Anyone ever paint the spotlight housing? The finish on mine is cracking and weathered. I am thinking some kind of brush on marine paint? If so what did you use? TIA

Looks great and really gives it a sleek look. Yes the old stuff has a decent demand as it is not made anymore and many people seem to be content with their existing devices and they are in-place replacements. I am basically donating my stuff to friends at the marina, going to give my old radar and chartplotter to my friend with an older 370.

I am wondering what to do as well. I thought about maybe taking it to a powder coating shop?

Getting ready to install my new “snap less” Aquamat carpeting and before doing so, I want to remove existing snaps and fill the holes. Question is what would work to do this? Boat Life sealant? 3M 5200?
Any recommendations are welcomed.

Spectrum color gel coat patch paste or general use epoxy works well

Mine is ready to be painted. I am considering using plasti-dip. If it doesn't come out well, you just peel it off.

12’7” is the number we used when building our trailer. If I recall the keel sits roughly 16 inches off the ground and total height when it is loaded is just shy of 14ft. (Ours is sitting on the trailer now ..would be happy to take some measurements for ya feel free to PM) When hauling all arch equipment has to be removed.

Thanks !
Trailer looks great.

Many MANY years ago a buddy and myself bought an old 40' steel hulled houseboat and the first thing I did was build a trailer for it to repair the rusted out bottom. What was I thinking !?!? The rusted part, not the trailer part. LOL

Not sure if anyone has had this happen but I called a local upholstery shop and they told me maybe in the fall.

This is for 5 cushions for the tender...wow!

Question for the group...has anyone ever used the SEM vinyl paint? The cushions themselves are in OK shape but there is some cruddy looking areas. Interesting, the console and cushions are a carry over from the RIB that came with our Sea Ray. It had the Walker Bay "stringer problem" that was warranted. I opted to step up to the Super Tender. Better boat in all areas. The console and seats just fit right in. The color is lighter than the new boat. By painting the cushions, they will be closer to matching.

Anyhow, looking for any experience with SEM paints.

Cheers!

New carpet and seadek went in yesterday. New upholstery and a wooden cockpit table next week. Starting to shape up!

I did 14 cushions with SEM for my son's Yamaha AR190 we rescued from Hurricane Irma in 2017. $220 in paint, zero in labor. The paint job took a few days, and lasted about 2 years. The vinyl cracked anyways, and the seams split anyways. 4K later, we have all brand new cushions in the boat.
