Def factory
The top one looks like a boot, maybe for the front bimini to close and put away if you want sun….
The second is the carpet protector

I wouldn’t part with either of them, but if you do, let me know how much to ship to 62040 please

Yeah I'm not sure where they go either, they were on the boat when I bought it, they look original from the factory.

Hi, I have a 2007 38 and have a fresh water leak somewhere and am having a heck of a time locating.

Water pump runs every couple minutes and there is a steady slow drip coming from far right port on port side. Mid boat. (Where the three ports are right next to each other) I'll try to post pictures when I get to a computer.

Anyone know what drains to that port? I've tried the various sinks and drains and can't find one that comes out there.

Could be your water tank leaking. They are prone to that. Search for water tank issues in this thread,I think you will find some info.

Check out this thread, someone just posted about a water tank issue. Similar setup in the 400/410 Searays.

Another thing to check is the pressure release valve on the water heater. The port you are referring to is the drain from your sump box (the shower, A/C drip pan and the water heater relief valve all drain to this). If the valve has failed and is stuck in a partially open position, this could cause your water pump to cycle as pressure falls in the system.

For those of you with 380s, I'm a bit confused in the differences between the 360 and the 380 of similar years.

From what I can see in each one's Owner's Manuals, the beam is the same, the weight for the 380 is about 800 lbs more than the 360 and the actual length... Confusing.

The 380 is billed as a "38'"but with the measurement is to the end of the "standard swim platform" it's listed as 39'. On the 360 - also from the rear of the "standard swim platform" - it's listed as 39'. Obviously there must be a difference in the length of the "standard platform." Their beans are the same at 12'6".

Did any of you 380 owners look at the 360 - of similar years (I'm thinking 2004 to 2006 vintage) - when/before buying your 380? Reason(s) for choosing the 380?

I'm also going to post this question on the "Official 360 Forum" but - obviously - slightly differently, to get their opinion.

Thanks.

Yes I looked at a couple 360s before purchasing my 380. I never compared the specs/numbers but I can tell you my 380 feels wider and longer than a 360. I'm guessing you're talking about 360s and 380s newer than mine though.

I just added that answer to my above posting "I'm thinking 2004 to 2006 vintage."

When I looked at the details of those interior and exterior layouts (of those years), the 380 had opposing shower and head and more seating on the aft exterior. Some definite advantages.

I noticed that in your "Previous Boat" list, you had a 2001 Regal 3870. A comparable boat. How did that compare to your current SR 380?

The Regal 3780 and the Sea Ray 380 are totally different boats in my opinion. The Regal was a sedan bridge not a cruiser. At this point in my life I prefer the cruiser layout.

Both are good boats in my opinion, just different.

I am going to say, the model year changed 2006, so you can not compare the previous 2004/2005 models to that. The 2004 380’s have the added swim platform, where 2006 is molded in. The 2004 380 is 42’, 13’ beam

The 2000-2005 360’s are pretty rare, they were 2 foot less at approx 40’ overall length. I liked the layout, just wanted the little larger.

Now as you talk about the 2006 and newer with the integrated swim platform, those are branded as 38’s. I don’t know that there was a 36, I don’t recall seeing them. One of my slip neighbors has a 2006 40 DA, it’s beautiful and I love it. It’s 2 or 3 inches wider and about the same length as my 380. So you really have to make sure you are comparing the same boat. The years you picked are 2 different models of boats

Woooow! This complicates my choices even more.

But... "Knowledge is power"... So...

Thanks for this input.

There is a 2001 360 at my marina at a finger dock and it is also narrower with a 12.6 beam. It to me looks closer to a 340 than a 380 JMHO

Hey Chris did you ever fix your speed? I am using the og analog transducers. Mine worked but I got stuck shallow last summer and it never worked since. there is one forward and one in the back, do you know which one?

Thx.
I ended up in a shallow area and it ended up working again on its own but was about 6MPH over the SOG via GPS. So I was curious and wondered if I can configure the Tri Data to read SOG and boom after a bunch of key sequences I was able to disable the transducer which by doing that enables SOG via GPS. Boom problem solved and it is more accurate than the Transducer. BTW my Tridata is the I50, not sure if the older ST read SOG but glad now that I can see the speed vs 0's.

check the cabinet aft of the curtain for the rear sleeping area, maybe in there. I am surprised it wasn’t the one in the bread box, or the one under the medicine cabinet in the head

Checked yesterday while at the boat, I could not find this gfci . Do I need to remove the screws on the bottom of the cabinet?

I read this thread, hoping somebody here knows "where" before I start my search: http://www.clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/gfi-outlets.76453/

I've checked every cabinet, every locker every sink, everywhere for GFCI outlets. With the exception of the one under the microwave behind the bread sliding door, I can't find any. I have not removed any screws though to lift things up and look under things. Do I need to do that?

I found this one, and the one under the microwave, neither are for the cockpit locker outlet. I can't find one in the head.

Canvas camper back options for the 380.

I am replacing my canvas and want to look into options for the slant back. I don't want a full camper back as I don't want the extra hardware that may or may not fold up out of the way. Are there any options that extend the back shade brace maybe with 1 more support that would at least move the slant back aft a little bit giving more headroom in the aft seat?
