Oil change pump

Do your engines have the oil drain hose on the bottom of the oil pans? I you do, then you can add an electric pump to pump from those hoses and pump into a 5 gallon bucket. Or use that style pump connected to the hoses and do the same thing as the electric. If no hoses, then what you show works fine, just not as refined.

I added the hose and and a Turbo scavenger pump setup on my last 7.4 and would pump out in under 2 minutes, with just a push of a button and zero mess.

For this boat (no hose from oil pan) I have a pump similar to one shown, but not same make. Mine also runs off compressed air and / or hand pump and empties out my 454 engine in under 3 minutes when oil is nice and warm. I don't use the super skinny tube that goes down the dipstick tube.

My dipstick tube is setup for the garden hose connection and the dipstick tube extends about 1" above that connection. I clamp the larger pump hose extension to that extension to get more volume. I have a compressor in garage, so I use the air power with it, instead of the pump. Doesn't make any mess at all when it's all said and done and the air power is awesome, if you have it available.

I have had that pump for 20 yrs and still works like a champ.

I too used one for years. Run the engines for 4-5 minutes first to warm, and thin, the oil to make it easier for the pump to work.
