Oil extractor pump any recommendations....looking at the Jabsco

These pumps work great for changing oil in lawn mowers, power washers, generators and etc. - just warm up oil insert the tube and let it suck the oil out.

I used to tilt the equipment and dump - making a huge mess no matter what technique I tried.

I use mine for that too now. As a matter of fact, I just did them all today.

Is it available to buy pump only of Jabsco 17800-2000 so any owner's can give the part number ?
TIA.

Hands-down, go with the Jabsco with the bucket. Worth the investment. I found mine slightly used in Northport via Craigslist.

If you're looking for a manual solution this is what I used to do the oil changes on my Mercedes [Mityvac MV7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus]. It holds 8.8L [2.3 gl] AND will pump the contents of the holding talk
back out for easy disposal at a local recycling center. It's a bit more work but I like a self contained single unit.

I bought 2 of these for my new boat that did not come with a Reverso:

The Volvo Penta D11 is serviced with a separate tube next to the dipstick.

I'll use one for dirty oil coming out. The other one is for clean oil going in. You suck old oil out of the engine into the 2.3 gallon reservoir, reverse the valve and pump it into a waste bucket. Repeat until empty. Using the other one, i'll pump 2.3 gallons out of the clean new oil bucket, reverse the valve and pump into the engine. Repeat until full.
I thought I would miss the Reverso, but this should do the trick. The best part is the Mityvacs will go in the garage for 364 days of year and the engine room is less cluttered without the reverso and hoses.

Thanks.
Isn't it strange that an AZI is not equipped with a reverso or a similar system or is it an option ?
Using the pump for both sucking and filling mains and genny will be easier for my hernia with this kind of pump.

I think next year I'm going to install a Reverso setup. Bring a container, Turn the valve and pump out the oil. I'm going to get the 5 valve system and do both motors trans and generator.

My first plan was adding this when I bought her last year but paying almost double price for reverso in my country and taking permanet space in the bilge lead me to the portable pumps.

Would like to see your set up and bilge when you install it.
