So for the summer I prefer using WIX filters, last year got the 51060 if I recall.
I prefer the "taller" filters that have higher capacity themselves...hold a little bit more oil than the shorter filters.

See also a 51061...which does not have a side valve? Models with side valves for horizontal mounts? If so, could use this one as they're hung vertical on the remote oil filter mounts. Right?

And then I see the 51794...which is a 2 qt model for truck? Heck if I could fit that in there!!!

Or NAPA Gold 1069...or 1060 for the longer model.

What are most of you running?

I use NAPA gold for all of my stuff that uses oil. In case you didn't know, Wix makes NAPA filters.
To cross reference, you drop the first digit and you have the NAPA filter number.
One of our local NAPA stores has a 50%off sale each year, I buy everything I need for the year at that time.
It's really nice for my truck with the 7.3 diesel, the oil and fuel filters are spendy.

Mine's 7099, it was cross referenced from the Mercury one that was on it when I bought it.
