So I am trying to learn more about this system. Seems like perhaps a oil pressure switch or something that wont allow my starboard engine to turn over. the oil pressure warning light on the system lights pops on when you try to start it. But gauge works If you hot start it from the starter no problem and all and oil pressure gauge reads correct. We kinda are all head scratching this one. Any ideas? 1998 330.

OP switch has nothing to do with engine cranking. Ign. switch to slave solonoid to starter. r/y

But when I try to start it the oil pressure warning light comes on and wont start. I go right to starter, it starts and oil pressure is reading right. so cant be starter.

Forget about the oil pressure light. Yes it's not your starter. Key in start position, do you have 12v. at the small y/r terminal at the slave ? With the key on, will it start by jumping the 2 larger terminals at the slave?

Yup, have over 12v. it will start everytime by jumping terminals, hot starting it and everything. When I go back to the helm and press the starboard ignition, the oil pressure light pops on and wont allow it to turn over and you get the warning sound and the warning light.

Also it turned over about an hour earlier without issue and ran for about 4.5 hours yesterday with no issue.

Your not making yourself clear to me. Answer my 2 questions in post 4. Testing at the slave solonoid

So found the issue. Had a refrigerator drawing power and the batteries werent recharging. started the other engine, then the batteries recharged and no more issue. Guess the shore power isnt charging the bank with one of the fridges on. bizarre, and such a stupid fix, ha.
