Great day of boating in Madison, Wi. Excellent weather and Aquapalooza today on lake Mendota.
I am paying more attention to the oil pressure on my 6.2 stoker mercruiser since I have a slight rear crankshaft seal leak which I have scheduled to be replaced in August. While pulling the kids tubing, I noticed the oil pressure drops from 50 (mid gauge reading) to about 25 when I am idling. When accelerating back on plane the pressure returns to 50. I haven't noticed this before - is this normal? thanks.
