Olympics

Not particularly interested. Have never been interested in opening a closing ceremonies, especially one's created by Chicoms (no, that is not a reference to Lori Lightfoot). Watched a bit of skiing, curling and may watch some hockey. Not going out of my way though, I mostly watched Last Man Standing reruns this weekend.
 
Now I know the Olympic is about competition of the sport but I don't know how the World can just turn a blind eye to all the crap that goes on in China. The two young ladies that are Americans that are representing China should just stay over there when it's over .
 
I for one enjoy the Olympics and can set aside politics, TV networks, covid, he said/she said, etc. I get to see sports/events I otherwise would never see, and I get to hear/see the athletes stories.

So, if your neighbor that lived in the house on the port side of your house had captured your neighbors that live in the house on your starboard side and had the husband chained in his basement and he kept the wife in a shed out back where him and his buddies would rape and beat her on and on for months and when she gets pregnant the neighbor forces her to have an abortion and then she is brought back to the shed. Now you said this is only politics so when the Super Bowl comes around, you would be OK with going over to the portside neighbors' place and watch the game with him?

I accidentally caught a few moments of the opening ceremony. The expected woke BS, we are the world, we are all uniquely different, blah blah blah.
