Cases mean nothing. Many are coming out now talking about hospitalizations with covid compared to because of covid and the HUGE impact it makes in the numbers. Let me be clear, I am NOT saying covid isn't real, but it is a power grab by governments world wide. The hospitals have to play by the rules, given to them by the regulatory agencies for treatment, reporting, etc.

Covid is all a power play to get control. This is not conspiracy, open your eyes and you can see it plane as day...

This is ripe... Rolls Royce and Bentley just revealed that they had their best sales year since their inception. Of course they did, I saw a report a few weeks ago how the criminals that conned CA EDD out of 100 billion dollars over the last two years were buying every luxury car on Rodeo Blvd with bags of cash, no questions asked. No alarm bells went off, no call to local authorities to look into the anomaly, just move merch and smile. Well now many of the stupid thugs that participated in the great rip off are being ferreted out and millions of dollars are actually beginning to be recovered and we can only assume that several of the exotic cars will end up in impound yards available to the public at pennies on the dollar. Who wouldn't want a Bentley with a back story that it was originally part of the biggest rip off in US history?
On another note about the pandemic response, I was just musing about the Binax at home tests being handed out like candy all across the country. I actually purchased one several weeks ago when I had a bad cold and was curious to know if I had picked up the vid or not. I really did not care much as the remedy was the same, I just wanted to know due to my teaching activities. The test comes in a box that is at least ten five times larger that is reasonable, like almost every thing these days. The packaging is designed to attract customers to the product on the shelf of course. If they are being handed out by the hundreds of millions though, they could be put in a non-descript paper envelope though, saving tens of millions of dollars in resources from plastics to shipping costs. What really strikes me as ironic and hypocritic though is how every one of the screaming liberals demanding the use of the tests are the same libtards that want plastic shopping bags and straws banned so they don't end up in landfills. I swear if there were just a few adults in the room that were not standing to get rich from the pandemic, way smarter solutions would be developed and implemented. No doubt, someone will do an expose on how every member of Congress had their personal wealth during and after the pandemic grow at a disproportionate rate especially the Dems that are "retiring" rather than face defeat in November. If it wasn't so serioous and sad it would be hilarious!

I'm a day trader and follow the markets. Notice how many people have resigned in the last 12 months after being 'looked into' for questionable trading activities during this? And I have no idea if these folks are left or right, just that those 'in the know' have been making millions off the stock market with this whole COVID thing. Just saw one yesterday
 
Talked to a guy at bowling tonight that had the virus last December 2020 and then woke up New Years Day this year to no taste or smell so 2nd time now for him. Pretty sure I had it a few weeks ago but who knows. I have felt right since my 2nd shot on 11/10 so hard to say but I did feel worse for about 2 weeks here around x-mas time
 
Looking at the Harvard covid map, the 2 states with the highest level of daily cases/100,000 people are Vermont and Rhode Island. Also, the 2 states with the highest level of vaccinated people are Vermont and Rhode Island...
I stand corrected. Vermont dropped since yesterday in cases/day.

They don't directly compare vaccinated vs. unvaccinated data but it looks like from the totals that it's the same story, with vastly higher rates of hospitalizations and deaths for the unvaccinated despite recent higher case rates for the unvaccinated due to Omicron.

Just one of hundreds of examples of the lack of respect for tax payers dollars government officials demonstrate. Ten million dollars' worth of PPE that was ordered and received with absolutely no need for it so it was just left out in the rain to be ruined. When a tip was phoned in and an investigative reporter turned the spotlight on the situation, he gets the old "gee, we made a mistake and we will make sure it doesn't happen again". These fuckers need to lose their jobs at the very least but should be charged with negligent waste of public funds. This is the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear Brandon or Newsome proclaim they are 'investing' billions of dollars to combat the virus.
