Onan 4kw MCCK Gen Install

Can anyone provide pics or details of how the gen is installed. My boat used to have one but wasnt in when I got it. The electrics and exhaust etc are still there but there are just holes on top of the stringers and on the onan gen I have just bought it is mounted to a drip pan. What fixes the drip pan to the stringers. I understand the exhaust outlet should face towards the stern.

Hmm, you do not offer your model of boat so we are limited to very vague answers.
My recommendation to you is to go look at other boats of the same model and close to the same year as yours that has a generator installed and look at how they did it.
To answer your specific question, the generator should have mounts at each corner. You do not only mount the drip pan.

Sorry, 88 300 Weekender. There are no other boats the same or similar here. (Nassau, Bahamas) that I have seen. Almost everything is centre console/outboards.

The gen has rubber mounts fastening the gen to the drip pan.
