Currently away on a trip and moored out. Have been running the gen on and off for about 5-7 days now with no issues. Last night gen started showing a pre alarm for low oil pressure. Oil level was good so as a precaution I changed the oil and filter but it seems after about 2 hours of running I get the pre alarm again. Thinking a bad oil pressure sensor? Readings seem to bounce between (15-25 psi). Coolant temp is steady at 161. Hasn’t shut down yet but pre-alarm comes and goes.

Is your Genny a QD series and the warning is on your Smartcraft Diesel View?
Or, it it analog and you are getting the OP warning on your SR Systems Monitor?

2003/ 2004 were transition years so both could be had.

Gen is newer than the boat. It’s model 9MDKBL-5174E Warning is via the onan digital display. Tried to post a pic but keeps saying it’s too large.

Yea - you should be 50 psi on your oil pressure.
No weird noises? All else seems fine?
The oil you took out looked OK? meaning not overfull and thin like it had a lot of fuel in it?
If all of that checks OK then change the oil pressure sender.

Oil looked normal. Also removed about 1 gallon plus what was in the filter which is what it holds. Fortunately moving to a slip tomorrow so will try replacing sender next. Thx

I'd start with checking/cleaning connections and sensor replacing as well.

For posting pics, try using snipping tool to screenshot the original pic, then just copy/paste it in your post. It goes as much smaller inline file.

From the MDKBL manual.......

New sender did the job. Pressure reading is rock solid at 42psi which it never was from when we first bought the boat. Sender unit unit was faulty from day one of owning the boat as it would bounce around but never error out.
