Online brokers

Anyone have a recommendations for a good online brokerage firm?

Seeking answers from experienced parties.

What are you trying to do.

I have been with Schwab for years, investing. And Interactive brokers for trading.

I've got a seperate account setup for investing, not a whole lot.
I had some positive experiences last year with the market and am looking to:
Invest in a currency, gold, silver, crypto to hold.
Do a little daytrading with a system I have been working with for awhile. I tried a "fake" portfolio last year and it's doing quite well, looking to turn it into reality. Emerging markets really, new IPOs, etc.
Maybe a few hours a week is all, I have at least one friend who was so deep in day trading he had no life, yeah he made some $$$$, but lost everything else he had.

Bottom line is, I have X in the pot. If it gets gone I will be out.

This is all in addition to, and seperate from, our retirement accounts and other income producing sources. So, would not be a big hit if I lost it all.

Ameritrade keeps coming up from others I know.
