I was just courious if anyone on here has had any experiance with sterndrive engineering's outdrives?

They are a local company here in central Florida and offer a 3 year "Fault Free" warranty and I am wondering if they truely stand behind their products so if anyone is using or has used one of their drives please let me know your experiance with it.

Thanks
Jesse

No experience but I do look at their ads every month in the boating magazines. They only offer Alpha drives and Bravo I's lowers if I recall. I know they do not have BIIIs. I'd be worried about a business like that right now.. what good is a warranty if they close-up shop? I bought a piece of equipment (electronic motor flushing units) from a manufacturer, did all the research, great warranty, etc.. and he closed down the following year. I never installed the kit - not sure if that is a good thing or not..

I put two of them on my 270 late last season and so far no issues. I only have about two hours on them though. Fit and finish is very nice and from my research 90% of the problems that people ran into were because they installed them wrong.

I had them installed and my mechanic said they fit like a glove. Perfect replacements for the Alphas I replaced.
