Paintless Dent Repair

First PDR company who was mobile that said he could do it for $400 by removing the door then called the next day and said their insurance was limited on the car value and mine was too much risk for them. He charged me $30 for all that. I think you were right on that Mitch @techmitch
Second PDR company who had a shop didn't even want to mess with it due to the amount of work to get to the dent. It seems they were pick and choose the easy stuff for production...
Third guy tomorrow morning; going to meet him at the local Crysler Dodge dealer.
I've got a fourth in the que who I understand specializes in the higher end autos. This guy -
That guy seems to work miracles. I had a broken tow chain do some nasty damage to my BMW 750 rear end (don't ask for details)... I had a PDR guy come out and was very skeptical that he could be affective. I was blown away and I have been doing sheet metal repair work on cars and airplanes for 40 years! I am sure you will post your results but looks like this guy will
take care of you. Of course the issue with your car is the access. The examples in the video are on the opposite end of the doors. Good luck

Some are artists,i actually do pdr work.Had my own bussiness untill 2005 when the bubble hit, wixom ford plant closed and a lot of guys went to train for pdr with buyout money. They would undercut prices and then do rush jobs in the detriot metro area . I was making more money fixing thier mistakes than what i was losing chassing dents that already destroyed the paint. If you find an artist dont lose his number. I even worked on a panoz esperante once.

Here ya go FHP @ttmott

Fun stuff Tom, Brings back memories of my SSR2 racing days in the early 90s. Closest thing we had to Sebring was Portland Oregon. Flat and surrounded by grass, our home track was Sears Point Now Sonoma International Race Way. Sonoma has a lot of terrain change and is very unforgiving if one leaves the race track! Fun times! We didn’t have the cool imbedded data video stuff back then.
Sebring is a rough and unforgiving track - early braking for me as you can see; the car was barely broke in. First time on the track coming around turn 1 (where that big 0 marker is), I was hard on the peddle and got the car completely sideways at around 80 when the track transitioned from concrete to asphalt. The wall is right there - An awakening. Daytona is just up the road and they do the full course with that high bank. Intimidating to say the least.
Another time at Sebring in the rain and really having fun testing limits I was coming hard down the front straight and the car banged the rev limiter in fourth or fifth gear at over 90. Next lap the same thing. After the session and during the debrief with the SCCA guy that in the higher horsepower cars to use caution coming down the straight as the start finish paint is greasy when wet and he has seen cars get crossed up at well over 100 and loose it into the wall at the end of that straight. Another awareness.

Racing in the rain is a thrill for sure, I was in drivers school when we had a record cold and wet winter in Nor-Cal.
The car was open cockpit and we were driving in rain and sleet! I had two inches of ice-cold ware sloshing around in the tub! It got really interesting when I hit a huge puddle at the bottom of the cresol and the car swapped ends! For a minute or two I questioned where the fun part went!

That is totally awesome! One question though, why did you let that C4 pass you? :D

I wish I had a track by me for that, I miss that stuff so very much.
That C4 was up my butt every corner then I'd walk away on the straights. His car was set up for track and he's a great driver, slow down and let him by..... Then stick to his butt as best as possible learning.

Yeah, it’s one thing to race a guy when it is a race, but on track day, let him by and hope others do the same. I actually had one of my worst crashes during a practice at Laguna Seca when a track pro was up my ass in one class up, I let him get in my head and when I gave up the racing line I was in the marbles, then the wall at turn nine. Rookie Maneuver. He did stop by my paddock latter though to offer condolences and some solid advice for future encounters.

Mopar or no car....

Dad had these huge Plymouth Furys, a few over the years. He rented out the shop to a morocycle shop. Owner built a dragster with 2 Honda 750 engines for a couple of guys. I remember them racing my Dads FHP Fury. One guy drove, the other sat on a concrete block between the front tires. They got him short, but caught up and passed eventually. I think they ran out of gears. I may have been 8 at the time. We were always doing crazy stuff.
