Its not winning me over. Maybe its the bland color scheme on this particular one (both inside and out), or the squared off lines on the interior, but the sport boats of the last 5 years seem more interesting.

It is basically a 185, dressed up. The current 185 will be toned down, some.

I actually like the color scheme. but i'm not sure about the squared off bow seats. Since there still isn't an anchor locker, there is a lot of cushion area to scratch when I accidentally dropped the anchor :(

MAybe it looks better in person. Looking at the photos I would agree the squared off look of the interior does not look good...They might have these sitting around for a while.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me but does the transom below the swim platform curve out? Are the current 185-195's like that? I like the graphics.

Yes, you're seeing it correctly. There's some neat options with colors this year. There's full hull color, below the rubrail, which has been offered before, but now you can get more of a full "two-tone" look. For example, you could have red from the rubrail to just above the waterline, then black below the water line. It looks sort of like a boat with bottom paint, but it does look pretty sharp with the right color combo.

Another neat thing is the sports towers (new design) will be colored (powder coated) and have integrated lights available.

What's with the bolsters on the rear facing seats. Or maybe they are child booster seats?:smt101:smt043

Wesley - I wish I had them to share. I only have them in PDF form from an online, nationwide conference with Sea Ray. I'm not sure how to get just the pictures out of the documents. I can't "click and save" them.

Dave - you're too funny!:smt001. Those are the "flip up" seats that the Sport boats use.

Dennis ... In the Adobe program if it's not the read only version...go under Tools, then Select and Zoom...then Snapshot... move the cursor over the image... box it with the mouse and it will copy it automatically... Then you can paste the image into anything...like a doc or Paint

Kermit - I agree...

At least they are using stainless cupholders and grab handles now. The lines on the bow seating do seem very angular but I think more cushion surface is a good thing from a comfort standpoint. I heard from a sea ray salesman this is the replacement to the 195. Not super impressive from the pics. I think instead of finding the next trendy new look they neeed to get back to their roots and focus on useable space and fit and finish. My 180 br was awesome and never had any problems with cheap components or workmanship. My 205 has been in the shop repeatedly for mickey mouse problems (horn that fills with water, uncrimped spade connectors, trim falling off, staples ripping out of captains chair, etc.) and it is really not what I expected when I bought another sea ray. Hull is great and the motor is great but the fit and finish sucks from the imperfections in the deck to the bimini cleavises pulling out.

Dan - thanks - I'll try that when I get home from vacation (just using my phone, right now). I have a feeling it's a read-only, but I'll see what happens. Come to think of it, I think I could just use Windows to take a screenshot?

Ditto on the horn- I have to replace mine every year
