the port engine also lacks power at cruise port needs more throttle. New plugs and wires new filters fresh non ethanol fuel. After Labor Day I'll be checking fuel rail pressure, if they look good I will probably have to do a compression test. if they are off I will pull regulator and injectors on port engine.

Fuel Pump pressures Port 40 psi-start 1 min-34psi 2 min-34psi Starboard 45 psi-start 1 min-37psi 2 min-36psi 38-40psi running
Anyone have anythink similar?

So question when I get PRT EMCT OVRHT alarm. Can I see the value of the sensor on the Port Exhaust coolant temperature or is it just a open close switch set at 212F?
I know my sea pump housing is scored up and is probably cavitating at cruise speed.
I just changed out the Port Sea pump but haven't got a chance to take it out yet.
Attached is the error before pump change, and pic of gage when running as alarm went off. Port engine coolant temp would creep up after 5-10 minutes and alarm PRT EMCT OVRHT would trigger.

Did you just recently do plugs and wires? I had a loose plug wire (two actually) that created what I initially thought was low power on my starboard engine. Turns out it was "really low power" and easily resolved by connecting those plugs.

Perhaps worth checking that you have all 8 plugged in and sparking...

You have low water flow and the port side suffers first. the scanner will show degrees for both sides in real time.

I can see pump pressures and coolant temperature but not exhaust manifold temperature. I'm trying to see how high it is a really getting.

Pulled the fuel rail #4 injector pintel cap was missing oring was there but might not have been sealing completely. Injectors are out for cleaning. I have to scope cylinder yet hopefully no damage.

Got injectors back flow tested fine, reinstalled on rail now to get the back in boat for test. Also ohmed out injectors to harness.
