Power steering leak

My power steering is leaking ( slow) and mechanic wants to replace whole actuator. I think it is leaking at the low pressure hose connector ( see pic, it is bottom connection). I found parts to replace the connector and the o ring. Has anyone done this and does this seems a reasonable issue?

Looks like a fitting to me not actually the rack
